CLEVELAND COUNTY VETERANS MEMORIAL (CCVM) PROJECT.

 

According to Jude Foster, Director of Parks and Recreation, “Our fundraising is almost complete.  When the City of Norman budget is put into place on 1 July we should be able to begin construction.  Bids have been completed for the construction contractor, granite has been ordered and the bronze sculpture is about to be cast.  We are anticipating having everything complete for a dedication on Veterans Day 11 November.” Design aspects have been completed and the pre-construction phase is in progress. To date, the project has raised just under $200,000, most of which has been in private donations. The preliminary construction cost for this project is estimated at $250,000.

 

You can help honor our veterans with your tax-deductible donations by sending it to: CCVM, P.O. box 249, Norman, OK 73070. Please do not send cash. Checks, Money Orders, or Cashier Checks are permissible. Make donations payable to the Norman Park Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization. Write in the memo section of your donation “CCVM.”
