National Collation for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) Logo

According to the NCHV, “[they] will end homelessness among veterans by shaping public policy, promoting collaboration, and building the capacity of service providers. They publish the following information to provide assistance to community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, corporate partners, and the homeless veterans they serve” as noted at <http://www.nchv.org/index.cfm>.

According to the VA, “Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a medically recognized disorder that occurs in normal individuals under extremely stressful conditions. The symptoms of PTSD affect people from all walks of life, including soldiers, victims of natural disasters or serious accidents. It can also affect people who provide emergency services for others.
